Company Description
Azienda Agricola Gallo – Cascina Cabonaldo is a family winery located in Montabone, in the hills of Monferrato, within the UNESCO buffer zone of the Vineyard Landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato. The Gallo family has been dedicated to viticulture since 1900, when Bartolomeo Gallo settled in the area to cultivate grapes. Today the winery is run by brothers Carlo and Guido Gallo, who continue the family tradition with the support of their parents.
The estate owns around 20 hectares of vineyards, where several grape varieties are cultivated, including Barbera, Moscato, Brachetto, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Thanks to the unique pedoclimatic conditions of the territory, the winery produces fresh, elegant and expressive wines.
Annual production is about 85,000 bottles, ranging from classic wines such as Moscato d’Asti and Barbera d’Asti to niche labels and traditional method sparkling wines. The company mainly serves the Italian market, with growing presence in Asia, Europe and North America.
