Company Description
D’Addario Wines is a contemporary wine project from Puglia, Southern Italy, created to bring the identity of this region to international markets through wines that combine authenticity, elegance and strong commercial potential.
The project is led by Leonetta D’Addario, an oenologist who developed her professional experience over several years in Italy and abroad, including in the United States, before returning to Puglia to build her own distinctive wine project. Her background combines scientific training, hands-on winery experience and an international perspective, shaping an approach that is both technically grounded and commercially driven.
Rather than emerging from generations of established winegrowers, D’Addario Wines is a first-generation project built through a deliberate entrepreneurial choice. From the beginning, the objective was not simply to produce wine, but to create a brand with clear identity, strong market positioning and real export potential.
Drawing on the know-how developed through international experience, D’Addario Wines has built commercial relationships across a wide range of countries, providing evidence of the company’s ability to position, sell and develop its wines internationally.
At the same time, the project is deeply rooted in vineyard heritage, selecting vineyards in the most suitable growing areas of Puglia to combine territorial identity with quality control at the source. Some vines are over 70 years old and are used for the production of the company’s Riserva, refined in terracotta jars to enhance purity, texture and sense of place.
At the heart of D’Addario Wines is the ambition to present Puglia in a modern and recognizable way. The portfolio focuses on native Apulian grape varieties such as Primitivo, Susumaniello, Negroamaro and Fiano, expressed through wines that show balance, precision and identity while remaining attractive for international buyers.
The project combines strong territorial roots with a contemporary production and commercial mindset. The wines are designed for importers, distributors and Ho.Re.Ca. professionals seeking authentic Italian wines with personality, clarity of style and reliable development potential.
Through Go Asia 2026, D’Addario Wines aims to strengthen its international expansion by connecting with qualified partners in Singapore and selected Asia-Pacific markets, offering not only wines from Puglia, but a project that has already demonstrated its ability to build market, develop relationships and grow internationally.
