Andrea De Cinque and his son Alessandro founded their liquor factory in 2015 in Bologna: the passion of both for the world of beverages and Andrea’s thirty years of experience in this sector are the key to creating a series of high quality artisan liquors.

Bad Spirits is now a dynamic, future-oriented company,  focused on giving each bottle and label a unique identity, and has expanded beyond Italy, conquering even distant countries, like Japan, USA and Australia.

Our products are unpredictable and increasingly appreciated, winning numerous awards in Italy and abroad, such as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2025 with a Double Gold Medal for our Sambuca Sbagliata and a Silver Medal for Amaro 1904.

The rediscovery of the cultural heritage of great-grandfather Ferdinando de Cinque (1876 – 1950) has brought to light an intellectual legacy of inestimable value and incredible relevance: hundreds of notes and formulas, all still to be studied, which have led to the creation of ancient and refined products such as Ferdinando de Cinque Gin and Amaro 1904, and which may hold further surprises for us in the near future.

Bad Spirits has never given up on giving importance to quality and making it its strong point, using only excellent raw materials.

Grain alcohol, specifically wheat and rye, used as a base for all products, is an essential aid in completely reducing the alcoholic aftertaste and giving a soft consistency to each liquor. Finally, all the aromas used are totally natural and allergen-free.
