Company Description
Masseria Torricella Winery – Alberobello
In the heart of the Valle d’Itria, among the gentle hills of the Canale di Pirro, the winery of Masseria Torricella was born — a place where agricultural tradition, family passion, and modern winemaking come together to create authentic wines that truly express the character of Puglia.
Since 1946, the family has carefully preserved this corner of land, producing wines that reflect the identity of the territory and its native grape varieties. The philosophy of the winery is based on respect for nature, careful vineyard management, and an artisanal approach to winemaking that values quality over quantity.
The grapes come exclusively from the estate’s own vineyards, where they are harvested by hand and carefully selected. In the winery, traditional knowledge is combined with modern technology to enhance the natural qualities of each grape. The wines mature in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, developing elegance, balance, and complexity.
The production includes several labels that represent the soul of the region, including Verdeca, Minutolo, Primitivo, and Cabernet Sauvignon, offering both fresh aromatic whites and rich, structured reds.
Among them stands out “U’ Mest”, the winery’s flagship wine, dedicated to the “master” of the family and symbol of its heritage.
Visiting the winery means enjoying an authentic experience: walking through the vineyards, discovering the winemaking process, and tasting the wines accompanied by traditional local flavors, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the true spirit of Puglia.
