Company Description

Cantine Simonetti was founded in 1977 between San Giuseppe Jato and Corleone, on the slopes of Mount Jato overlooking the valley of the river of the same name. The winery was born from the family’s long-standing passion for winemaking and has grown by combining tradition with technological innovation, with a constant focus on sustainable production.

The favorable Sicilian climate, the healthiness of the ecosystem, and careful vineyard management allow the production of a wide range of high-quality wines. Today, under the guidance of CEO Domenico Simonetti, an experienced oenologist, the winery has established a strong presence in the local wine scene.

Operating under the brand Tenute dello Jato, the company produces several lines, including the Sant’Anselmo line, featuring both native and international varieties, and the Al Mio Amico line, a selection of reserve wines. The range also includes sparkling wines, aromatic whites, late harvest wines, and an Etna DOC line.

Deeply connected to its territory, Cantine Simonetti expresses this bond through its wines, while continuing to invest in eco-sustainable practices and aiming for full energy independence.
