Company Description
Cascina Alberta is an Italian winery in the Northwest part of the country, in the heart of the world renown Barbaresco wine region, based in Treiso, within one of the most important MGAs in the entire area called Giacone (a single vineyard covering 90 hectares below the village, predominantly facing south, southwest, and southeast as exposure).
We are a small winery (approx. 50,000 bottles, certified organic both in the vineyard and in the cellar) and we own 10 hectares of land surrounding the property, with an additional small plot in the near-by municipality of a village called Neive; this is allowing our production to focus on the region’s main grape varieties such as Nebbiolo and Barbera, offering a high-end range that specifically includes:
Barbaresco “Giacone”;
Barbaresco “Giacone” Riserva;
Barbaresco “Serragrilli”;
Langhe Nebbiolo
Barbera d’Alba
Barbera d’Alba Superiore

Furthermore, starting from summer 2025, we were able to acquire a prestigious winery in the Roero hillside called Cascina Cà Rossa, expanding our offering to include three Roero DOCG red wines, two Roero Arneis white wines, two Barberas red wines and another Langhe Nebbiolo.
In Treiso we are also offering a country-chic retreat, with 11 cozy rooms, where to enjoy your holiday and where to be pampered by our attentive yet easy and homey service, while drinking one of the best wines in the world.
