Castello di Montepò is a leading winery located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, in the countryside of Scansano. Part of the historic Biondi Santi family, the estate is deeply rooted in the Italian winemaking tradition, with a heritage dating back to the 19th century.
The production core is set within the estate, which includes vineyards, olive groves, woodlands, and vinification and ageing cellars, covering a total of 600 hectares, of which 50 hectares are planted with vines.
Led by Jacopo Biondi Santi together with the new family generation, the company is focused on enhancing its territory and its proprietary Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 clone, a distinctive expression of the local terroir.
Through an approach that combines oenological innovation, research, and respect for tradition, Castello di Montepò produces high-quality wines defined by strong identity, longevity, and elegance, distributed through carefully selected national and international channels.
