Experience the true essence of Puglia with Cantine Di Gioia, where every bottle tells a story of tradition and quality. Founded in 1998, our roots run deep into the 1950s when our founder’s grandfather, Giovanni, first cultivated the clay-rich soils of Gioia del Colle in the Bari Province. Today, that same passion lives on as his grandson continues the family legacy, producing and bottling quality wines on-site to be shared with the world.
Our Vineyards & Varieties
We take pride in preserving the viticultural heritage of Southern Italy and celebrating the precious “gems” of Puglia’s indigenous grape varieties. Our Villa Amoris selection showcases the grapes that represent the best of our region:
- Primitivo: the heartbeat and principle red variety of our area, highlighting the calcareous terrior of Gioia del Colle.
- Susumaniello and Negroamaro: Ancient varieties celebrated for their distinctive textures and rich complexity.
- Rare Whites: We specialize in Moscatello Selvatico, a rare aromatic variety that produces a captivating dry white wine, alongside Verdeca, the most representative white grape of the region.
- Exquisite Rosés: Following the Puglian tradition, we craft elegant Rosé wines from Susumaniello and Primitivo grapes.
Our family is committed to ensuring the quality and expression of our native grape varieties, with every sip reflecting the unique terroir of Gioia del Colle and Puglia. From the vineyard to the glass, we remain dedicated to the authentic methods and values passed down through generations.
