The story of our oil mill has deep roots that go back to our paternal grandparents, who were from the splendid city of Todi.We remember them and think of their lives every time that we admire Todi. The choice of the brand name, “I POTTI”, which means “the children” in the Todi dialect, is a homage to our paternal roots, while the Perugian roots of the family have inspired the name of the oils.

Our first three oils are dedicated to our grandmother, our mother and father: respectively in Perugian dialect “Ta Té”, “Ta Lìa”, “Ta Lù”. We created this place so that we can be together as a family, to always feel united and to preserve our roots. The “I POTTI” oil mill has become a place where people meet, where everybody can discover our passion for high-quality oil and also for the history and culture of our land.

We chose to create an oil mill with a strong design, an ambitious project and a genuine challenge. We want to be the driving force of a new generation of oil mills that are impressive not only because of the quality of their machinery and their efficiency in the oil extraction process, but also because of how clients are welcomed. We have combined the modernity of materials used inside (corten, glass and travertine) with the classic feel of the oil mill outside, reminiscent of old Umbrian farmhouses.

The goal is to create a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, a new concept of olive mill designed to welcome people, make them feel at home, and offer a unique and unforgettable experience. Our company is very sensitive to environmental sustainability; in fact we use solar panels and give our olive pomace to a company that produces electricity.

Our oil mill embodies our passion for olive oil production and for innovation. Here nature and agriculture blend to create oils with an unmistakable character and flavour. We produce traditional Umbrian oils such as Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo, but our vision goes further. We believe that history can inspire the present, encouraging us to find new perspectives and create unique products.

We are convinced that the unique characteristics of our region can generate very high-quality oils. That is why we have also planted varieties such as Itrana and Ascolana Tenera, uncommon in the area, to explore how they adapt to the territory. We are proud to offer a selection of excellent products that represent the best of the Umbrian land and our passion for innovation. Our company celebrates tradition and innovation, love for family and land. Our goal is to continue cultivating these roots, making them ever stronger, and to share the flavours and aromas of our territory with the world.
