The small, family-owned winery I Balzini was established in 1975. Our boutique winery is located in the heart of Chianti, a region with a long-standing tradition of producing high-quality wines. We choose to produce only Super Tuscan wines, even though we are in the Chianti region.

We are a certified organic winery and eco-sustainable; the entire estate has zero energy impact. The production process is conducted exclusively by hand, and we are specialized in wines for aging.

We do not sell our entire production of our premium wines; instead, we maintain a stock of approximately 2,000 bottles of each vintage, ensuring that we have every vintage from 1987 to the present. Our clients are mainly wine enthusiasts and collectors.

We are part of the Comitato dei Grandi Cru d’Italia, which includes only the 127 best wineries in Italy. Furthermore, we are members of FIVI (Italian Wine Federation), which guarantees that our products are entirely artisanal.

We also offer an En Primeur sales service and free indefinite storage at our winery for special formats ranging from 1.5 to 12 liters of our most prestigious wines.

From the very first vintage, our wines have received prestigious national and international awards.
