The Motta family has been working in the metal industry for over 100 years.

Motta Attilio founded the original company MMO (Motta Attilio Omegna) as a blacksmith firstly working iron and then stainless steel.

Since then the company was carried on by Adriano and Emilio and still nowadays their sons Marco and Massimo are personally involved in the family business and they as Motta are linked to the stainless steel business.

As entrepreneurs and staff, Motta have always been recognized as serious and professional business men and they have constantly paid great attention and care to the quality of their product range, creating at the same time a nice and personal relation with the customers.

The production was at the beginning focused on the household branch with small tools like graters and serving tongs. It was then enriched with gift items like elegant trays and baskets.

Motta has added during the years several items for the Ho.Re.Ca sector and specifically for the barman and Barista niche.

It was exactly this niche sector of Barista, which brought the name Motta all over the world.

This is thanks to the strict co-operation with the best Italian and Foreign baristas, with whom high professional tools were developed. Motta is also sponsoring the most recognized and worldwide championships like WBC (World Barista Champion), where the best professionals of the branch are working with the Motta jugs.

Nowadays Motta has a worldwide market share and export is growing continuously and represents over 50% of the total turnover.

The headquarter in Omegna (VB) – Italy has a surface of over 7000 square meter and in the elegant show room all items are displayed. The production unit counts on the most modern and technological advanced machineries and the stock is always available, to guarantee quick and on time deliveries to all customers.
