Founded in 1963 by Vincenzo Lombardo as a liqueur factory in Rome, the company evolved in the 1970s and 1980s into a leading producer of olives and preserved vegetables, gradually focusing entirely on savory specialties and discontinuing liqueur production.

Driven by continuous innovation, Castellino introduced pasteurized olives in tubs with extended shelf life at room temperature — a breakthrough for the sector — and steadily expanded its range of antipasti and vegetable specialties. Today the company operates in a modern facility of about 10,000 square meters equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and managed by qualified staff under an advanced quality system.

Castellino exports to over 50 countries worldwide and serves multiple market sectors including Retail, Ho.Re.Ca., Food Service, and Industry. Production runs on two daily shifts and reaches high output volumes across jars and trays.
