Nestled among the rolling hills of Chianti Classico, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Boschetto Campacci is the realization of a dream: to create wines that embody the purest soul of Tuscany.
Founded in 2016 by entrepreneur Luigi Frascino, who acquired the historic Santa Caterina estate, the winery was born from a clear vision: to enhance the extraordinary potential of this land. To bring this ambition to life, Frascino partnered with internationally renowned oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, combining entrepreneurial drive with world-class winemaking expertise.
The estate spans 22 hectares of vineyards climbing up to 400 meters above sea level, overlooking one of the most prestigious areas of Chianti Classico, northeast of Siena. Here, a landscape shaped by centuries of history, once inhabited by the ancient Etruscans, reflects a deep-rooted culture of vine growing.
The soils, rich in sandstone, claystone, and galestro, are deep and stony, naturally suited to producing wines of remarkable elegance and aromatic finesse. In keeping with Chianti Classico’s heritage, Boschetto Campacci cultivates carefully restored old vines alongside new plantings of Sangiovese, complemented by native varieties such as Canaiolo and Colorino.
