Company Description
Tenuta Cà Davite is a small family winery located in Vignale Monferrato, in the heart of the Monferrato wine region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The estate’s vineyards grow on ancient soils dating back 27–33 million years, whose mineral richness gives the wines depth, complexity and distinctive character.
The winery welcomes visitors in tasting rooms that preserve the historic charm of the old farmhouse, including original tuff bricks with visible fossils and a traditional underground cellar built in pietra di cantone, which naturally maintains a constant temperature for wine aging.
Production focuses on typical local varieties, particularly Grignolino, the emblematic grape of the region, together with Chardonnay and Nebbiolo. The winery also produces rosé wines and sparkling wines made with the Martinotti method, while experimenting with aging in barriques, tonneaux and amphorae to enhance the wines’ personality.
Among the highlights is a barrique-aged Grignolino, presented at the ATP Finals in Turin, and a Nebbiolo awarded at the Torchio d’Oro, confirming the quality and identity of the estate’s production
