Tenuta Gabe can be found here, in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, specifically in San Pietro di Feletto.
This is the place, among the rows of Glera grapevines, where Gabriella Benedetta Vettoretti, the owner, applies her wine-making knowledge.
This knowledge is the fruit of numerous years spent at the helm of her family-run business, but above all, the fruit of her curiosity and desire to learn that pushes her to delve deeper.
The result is a line of Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene sparkling wines that respect the traditions, the high-quality standards of production guidelines, the land of origin and the characteristics of its grapes.
However, these wines are also a nod to the future in the way they present themselves and garner discussion.
In Gabe, colour reign supreme, our labels invite you explore the fascinating bond between colour and taste. Each label has its own personality, because every Prosecco is unlike the other.
Also, our wines maintain an important artisanal and territorial component, hence the choice to present the DOCG line only with “Rive”.
The wines have an elegant and creamy bubble, are well balanced and enveloping with well-recognizable primary notes (fruity and floral).
Every different “Rive”, our sub area of the denomination, has different characteristics and soil features.
For example in Valdobbiadene the soil has yellow-gray calcareous marl with a clay-like texture which provides constant water supply and abundant minerals.
The grapes produce a wine that is fresh, fragrant and harmonious.
The Conegliano and Feletto area instead is characterized by red clay soil with low limestone content and acidity enough to favor the absorption of microelements.
This soil absorbs water well resulting in roots that run deep giving the wine a good structure, freshness, balance and hints of fresh fruit with notes of mediterranean spices.
In short, Gabe is a family-owned estate of 12 hectares in the heart of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, producing Prosecco with a strong identity that combines authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship; ensuring full quality control while maintaining a deep connection to the territory.
