Company Description

Vignaquaranti Società Agricola is an artisanal winery located in the heart of Monferrato Astigiano, Piedmont (Italy), a UNESCO-recognized wine territory known for its distinctive white soils — calcareous and sandy-loam compositions that give the wines structure, elegance, and strong territorial identity.

History & Philosophy

Founded in 2009 by Pietro Cioli, together with Francesco Baghi and Guido Natale, and supported by consulting winemaker Guido Beltrami, Vignaquaranti was born from a shared passion for quality viticulture and deep respect for the land.

The winery combines tradition and innovation, merging scientific knowledge with hands-on vineyard work and a strong environmental focus.

Production philosophy is based on low yields per hectare to enhance concentration and quality, manual harvesting and careful grape selection, minimal intervention winemaking with limited use of sulphites, and a strong commitment to sustainability. The estate is currently completing its organic conversion, with certification expected in 2025.

Vineyards & Terroir

The estate covers approximately 5 hectares in the municipality of Castelletto Molina (Asti, Piedmont). South-east facing vineyards and ideal pedoclimatic conditions allow both indigenous and international grape varieties to fully express their character.

Wine Portfolio

Vignaquaranti produces a focused selection of red and white wines that reflect the authentic identity of Monferrato.

Red Wines:

  • Rablé – Barbera d’Asti DOCG

  • Thelèm – Barbera Superiore DOCG

  • Nemo – Monferrato Rosso DOC (Nebbiolo)

  • Meraki – Monferrato Rosso DOC (Pinot Noir)

White Wines:

  • Rebèl – Monferrato Bianco DOC (Arneis)

  • Livè – Monferrato Bianco DOC (Nascetta)

The portfolio balances tradition and modern expression, offering wines with vibrant fruit, freshness, minerality, and strong food-pairing versatility.

Company Values

Vignaquaranti sees winemaking as an act of care — for the soil, the vines, and the people who enjoy the wine. The company promotes wine as a cultural expression of authenticity, conviviality, and craftsmanship, always respecting nature and its rhythms.
